One product for designing report forms, opening reporting periods, collecting structured data from divisions, and producing consolidated statistics.
02 / The product problemThe product problem
Collecting statistics from many divisions through spreadsheets and email makes every reporting cycle fragile. Forms evolve, completeness is difficult to verify, and managers spend time reconciling files instead of working with trusted data.
03 / What we builtWhat we built
R&D Club created an end-to-end reporting product for the Almaty City Bar Association: administrators configure forms and periods, divisions submit structured reports, and managers receive consolidated results in one controlled workflow.
04 / Product capabilities
Product capabilities
01Configurable forms
Administrators build and evolve reporting tables without rebuilding the product for every cycle.
02Controlled periods
Reporting windows open for the right participants, with status and completeness visible in one place.
03Multi-division consolidation
Submitted data is transformed into summary forms across divisions and reporting periods.
04Role-based workflow
Contributors, division managers, and administrators work with the access and tools their role requires.
05 / System shape
System shape
Rails 7 models users, divisions, reporting periods, forms, reports, and role-based access. React 18 delivers the reporting and form-builder interfaces. MariaDB stores the core domain, while PostgreSQL keeps flexible JSON table structures; a consolidation engine transforms division submissions into summary reports. The system runs in Docker.
